Stretching Muslims In a country of insulting cartoons of Prophet Muhammad SAW through


Unlike in other Western countries, in Denmark there is no separation of church and state. In Denmark, the church has a special position not shared by other minority groups, like Islam for example. How Islam developed in the country has ever published cartoons insulting the Prophet Muhammad's this? 

In Denmark, it is estimated there are about 3.7% of Muslims. The majority of Muslims living in Denmark was the first-generation immigrants from Muslim-majority countries. In this case, there are three phases in the Muslim immigration into Denmark: foreign workers, asylum seekers and those who embraced Islam through marriage.

In 1967, Nusrat Jahan Mosque was built in Hvidovre, a suburb of Copenhagen. This is said to be the first mosque in Denmark.There are several other mosques, but not built for the explicit purpose. It is not forbidden to build mosques or other religious buildings in Denmark, but there are very strict zoning laws. Danish Muslims did not want to build mosques by using money from outside, such as from Saudi Arabia for example.
Across Denmark today there are only seven cemetery for Muslims.Most Danish Muslims are buried in the cemetery, and about 70 were flown overseas to be buried in their home countries. In September 2006, a separate Muslim cemetery opens in Brondby, near Copenhagen.
In 2009, the U.S. State Department issued a report on religious freedom in Denmark. The findings stated that there were several incidents of discrimination against immigrants, including the desecration of the cemetery: There are incidents of anti-immigrant sentiment, including graffiti, low-level attacks, denial of service, and employment discrimination on the basis of race. In Denmark, societal discrimination against religious minorities is difficult to distinguish. The Danish government sendir criticized the incidents and immediately conduct an investigation, but only a few cases are brought to a special tribunal on charges of racial discrimination or hate crimes.
The first private Islamic school founded in 1978 which Islamisk Den Arabiske Skole (School of Arab Islam) in Helsingør and accept students from any country. Currently there are around 20 Muslim schools, mostly located in big cities. Muslim schools of today allowing serving students according to their countries of origin. In the 1980s, schools for those who come from Pakistan, Turkey and the Arab establishment. Furthermore, for the people of Somalia, Palestine and Iraq school was founded in the 1990s. Today, 6 or 7 countries dominate the Islamic schools.
As a country with a very homogeneous population, Denmark, like most countries in the world, dealing with the presence of a large and visible minorities. As the first and second generation immigrants, some Muslim groups in Denmark are not considered successfully achieve economic and political power which is proportional to their population.
Some ethnic Danes feel threatened by aspects of Muslim culture.In September 2005, a Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten published 12 caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. This cartoon contains clear direct insult sparked international controversy, and ultimately lead to pemboiotan Danish products in several countries.
